Motobatt battery
manufacturing date code check
On the lid of your Motobatt battery you will
see a stamped code of the manufacturing date.
It is a letter code where each letter corresponds to a number.
The format for the code is DDMMYY.
In newer batteries, it is apparently YYYYMMDD. Input your code to get the date.
You can also check the code from the table below.


Example, 6 characters:
Battery Manufacture Code ISCCIR would convert to 041109.
Manufacturing date would be 4.11.2009 (Wed, November 4, 2009).
So the battery would be 15 years, 5 months and 27 days old.
Example, 8 characters:
Battery Manufacture Code KIKNIKIN would convert to 20250205.
Manufacturing date would be 5.2.2025 (Wed, February 5, 2025).
So the battery would be 0 years, 2 months and 26 days old.
