Motobatt battery
manufacturing date code check
On the lid of your Motobatt battery you will
see a stamped code of the manufacturing date.
It is a letter code where each letter corresponds to a number.
The format for the code is DDMMYY.
In newer batteries, it is apparently YYYYMMDD. Input your code to get the date.
You can also check the code from the table below.
Example, 6 characters:
Battery Manufacture Code MIIRCI would convert to 300910.
Manufacturing date would be 30.9.2010 (Thu, September 30, 2010).
So the battery would be 14 years, 9 months and 3 days old.
Example, 8 characters:
Battery Manufacture Code KIKNISKK would convert to 20250422.
Manufacturing date would be 22.4.2025 (Tue, April 22, 2025).
So the battery would be 0 years, 2 months and 11 days old.
