Motobatt battery
manufacturing date code check
On the lid of your Motobatt battery you will
see a stamped code of the manufacturing date.
It is a letter code where each letter corresponds to a number.
The format for the code is DDMMYY.
In newer batteries, it is apparently YYYYMMDD. Input your code to get the date.
You can also check the code from the table below.
Example, 6 characters:
Battery Manufacture Code CZIXIR would convert to 180609.
Manufacturing date would be 18.6.2009 (Thu, June 18, 2009).
So the battery would be 16 years, 11 months and 29 days old.
Example, 8 characters:
Battery Manufacture Code KIKXIMCC would convert to 20260311.
Manufacturing date would be 11.3.2026 (Wed, March 11, 2026).
So the battery would be 0 years, 3 months and 5 days old.
