Motobatt battery
manufacturing date code check
On the lid of your Motobatt battery you will
see a stamped code of the manufacturing date.
It is a letter code where each letter corresponds to a number.
The format for the code is DDMMYY.
In newer batteries, it is apparently YYYYMMDD. Input your code to get the date.
You can also check the code from the table below.
Example, 6 characters:
Battery Manufacture Code KICKKI would convert to 201220.
Manufacturing date would be 20.12.2020 (Sun, December 20, 2020).
So the battery would be 4 years, 7 months and 30 days old.
Example, 8 characters:
Battery Manufacture Code KIKNIMKS would convert to 20250324.
Manufacturing date would be 24.3.2025 (Mon, March 24, 2025).
So the battery would be 0 years, 4 months and 26 days old.
